On March 13th, Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province in collaboration with Korea Trade and Industry Association in Central and South Vietnam (KOCHAM), Military Bank (MB Bank) - Binh Duong Branch held a program to present savings books and gifts to children orphaned due to Covid-19 in the province.
In order to share the pain and loss of orphans of the recent Covid-19 wave, this time, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in collaboration with KOCHAM to give 40 savings books to 40 disadvantaged children, fatherless, motherless children, and orphans due to the Covid-19. Each savings book is worth $5 million.
Representatives of Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs together with MB Bank - Binh Duong Branch present savings books and gifts to the children.
In addition, MB Bank - Binh Duong Branch also mobilized officials to donate and give each child VND1 million in cash and a gift.
Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, expressed her thanks to donors who have been cared of and shared difficulties with orphans due to Covid-19. She said this support was of great significance, demonstrated the support of the province and donors for the children, thereby encouraging them to overcome the pain and to continue learning and bettering themselves.
