Provincial Department of Education and Training developed a plan for admission to 10th grades in the school year 2020-2021. Accordingly, in the next school year, Department of Education and Training will recruit 70% of junior high school graduates eligible for admission to public 10th grades of high schools by an entrance exam, in order to further improve the quality of education and classify students. The exam takes place on 29, 30, 31 May and 1 Jun 2020. Candidates that enroll into gifted high schools, high-quality high schools, and public high schools in the province will take the same exam. Candidates will take exam of three subjects: Literature, Math and English.
According to the plan, school year 2020-2021 Department of Education and Training will recruit 9,958 students to 10 grades When enrolling, the department will base on test scores and the actual situation of each school and each locality to make an increase or decrease appropriately, ensuring the distribution and classification of students throughout the province.
