The 2nd contest on press works with the theme of “I love Binh Duong” absorbed more than 1,300 entries from many authors from all walks of life in and out of the province. Among them, there were 1,138 writings, 115 video clips and 50 podcast works. Especially, there were very young authors and authors who are veterans, retired officers and even those from other provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh city, Can Tho, Binh Thuan, Quang Tri, Vinh Long, Thua Thien - Hue, Ha Tinh, Hanoi, Lao Cai..., contributing to enriching the works participating in the contest.

According to the jury's assessment, this year, there were many entries elaborately invested, creating a strong impression. A number of writings were edited, published in Binh Duong newspaper and shared widely on social networking platforms. The works contributed to showing the image of a civilized, modern, worth-living Binh Duong full of sentimental attachment.

According to Dr. Huynh Ngoc Dang, Chairman of provincial Historical Science Association, former Editor-in-Chief of Binh Duong Newspaper, the authors' works were worthy of respect. “It is very lovely like Binh Duong that we are in love with. And there is another prize that is worthy of everyone. That is the magical feeling from the love “I love Binh Duong” that we felt during the process of creating works for the contest. That feeling is both clear and cool like dew drops while also filling with colorful sparkles, shining in our hearts and minds. Let's love Binh Duong by our youthful hearts and our multi-dimensional wisdom when facing or approaching hundreds of thousands of beautiful features of the land and people of Binh Duong, our beloved homeland”, said Dr. Huynh Ngoc Dang.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Ha spoke highly of the efforts by Binh Duong Newspaper in improving propaganda contents and forms towards multimedia communication, forming up new programs, including the program "I love Binh Duong", to meet readers' needs. From the foundation of the program "I love Binh Duong", Binh Duong Newspaper organized a very meaningful contest on press work with the theme of "I love Binh Duong". *Author Luu Thanh Tuu, with the first prize in the category of writing feelings: The humanity of Binh Duong people is sincere and rustic

There were many contests about Binh Duong in the past, but the contest on press works with the theme of "I love Binh Duong" launched by Binh Duong Newspaper is very meaningful.

The humanity of Binh Duong people is sincere and rustic. Writing about Binh Duong was very emotional, but I had to moderate and filter words to make my work suitable for an article as required by the competition. This contest is very meaningful, evoking love for Binh Duong in the hearts of every Binh Duong citizen and those who love this land. The number of entries this year is much higher than last year, proving that the contest has received the attention of many people and spread widely.

I would like to thank the Organization Board for opening this contest to create a playground for everyone, including me. I hope that this meaningful contest will continue being maintained in the coming years and that I will actively respond with specific works, showing more aspects of life in Binh Duong.

Master Trinh Hoang Xuan Phuc, Director of the Center for Communication and Career Consultancy under Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology, author who won second prize in the video clip category:

The contest bears lots of practical meaning

“I love Binh Duong” is a program that has practical meaning for everyone. Through the program, all people can learn more about the land and people as well as the beautiful features of Binh Duong. Organizing a contest on press works with the theme of "I love Binh Duong" from the foundation of this program from Binh Duong Newspaper is very meaningful.

I am very honored because this is the first time I have participated in the contest and was lucky enough to receive a prize today. This is both joy and motivation for me as well as all students of Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology to continue participating in the contest in the following years.

*Author Huynh Thuy, who won first prize in podcast category:

Binh Duong is my love, my soul

I came to Binh Duong to live and start a career when I was very young. From this lovely land, I have had much good experience and encountered countless kind things. For me, Binh Duong is no longer a "alien land", no longer a "temporary stop place", but is my love and soul, being as important as breathing, food, and clothing every day.

I participated in this contest with all the emotions and vibrations of a girl who considers Binh Duong as her second homeland. That is my sincere love and affection for the land that I want to pay tribute to. I would like to thank the Organization Board for creating a meaningful contest, giving us the opportunity to express our feelings about this land.
