Right from primary school, Nguyen Phuong Hoang loves English. From the 4th grade, she pursued English learning at Binh An primary school in Di An town and decided to spend much time for this subject. Thanks to her efforts, she passed entrance exam of Binh Thang secondary school.
At this secondary school, she enjoys good conditions to promote her aptitude for this subject. In the 9th grade, she won the consolidation prize at Internet-based English test, the third prize at the provincial English Olympic Contest. In the academic year of 2014-2015, she passed the 10th grade entrance exam of Hung Vuong Gifted School.
Asked about secrets of learning English, she said that she must spend much time for learning this subject. Aside from lesson at class, she must learn many vocabularies and grammatical structures. In addition, she often watches films in English, listens to songs in English to practice listening, speaking and pronunciation skills. She revealed that it is necessary to talk to foreigners to practice English skills.
Aside from English, Hoang likes history subject very much. In the past school year, she won the consolidation prize at Di An town contest on Vietnamese history.
Entering the 10th grade, Hoang maps out plans for her future. She will try her best to seek out a scholarship at a foreign university for psychology major after she graduates from the high school.
