On Nov. 8, the provincial Bureau of Intellectual Property, Vietnam Union of Entrepreneurs in cooperation with the provincial society of consumer protection and the local Market Management Bureau held a seminar on improving efficiency of executing intellectual property right to protect consumers and enterprises’ rights and interests. The event attracted nearly 100 reps of businesses, managers. Associate professor, doctor Vu Van Khiem, head of the Southern Bureau of Science and Technology chaired the seminar.
Accordingly, reps of enterprises explained problems of intellectual property and role of intellectual property for consumers and enterprises, legal regulations of implementing intellectual property right, reason and measure of improving efficiency of implementing intellectual property in Binh Duong and other issues.
Associate professor, Ph.D Vu Van Khiem said that in order to improve efficiency of implementing intellectual property right, the Government, ministries, agencies and enterprises should in the coming time set out positive actions against fake and poor-quality products in a bid to enhance enterprises and consumers’ awareness on intellectual property.
