Along with production task, workers at province-based companies have actively taken part in offering help to their colleagues with difficult circumstances via practical movements launched by trade union locals. This has not only made coherence among workers, but also expressed the attention of trade unions at all levels for them.
From “mutual love, mutual affection”

Nguyen Binh Yen, Chairman of the company’s Trade Union said that after more than 8-year implementation, the company’s “mutual love, mutual affection” movement has received enthusiastic support from workers.
The company’s Trade Union last year supported VND70million-VND90million in funeral cost for 5 workers and called for help of around VND600million to tens of workers with fatal illness. Especially, in the past nine months of 2017, the company’s Trade Union called for help to 7 cases hit by labor accidents and fatal diseases with more than VND230million.
Particularly, the company’s Trade Union offered timely support to two workers, namely Trinh Van Trieu and Nguyen Van Cuong with extremely difficult circumstances through the “mutual love, mutual affection” movement.
In each workshop of the company, trade union groups have also launched a “mutual love, mutual affection” movement among workers. Over the past nine months, the company’s welding workshop offered help of hundreds of millions of dong to tens of workers with fatal diseases or hit by labor accidents…This was a great spiritual encouragement for workers, helping them surmount difficulties and have a long-term attachment with the company.
To “golden heart” fund
Gang Viet Co.Ltd.’s Trade Union has also established a “golden heart” fund, aiming to support workers with difficult circumstances.
So far, the fund has mobilized more than VND100million with the participation of more than 200 workers. Luu Quoc Phong, Vice-Chairman of the company’s Trade Union said that the fund has aimed to create coherence among workers.
Nguyen Thien Phuoc, Vice-Chairman of provincial Labor Union said that along with the “working well, working creatively” emulation movement, workers in the province have actively participated in social charity activities at trade union locals. Many significant models, namely “mutual love, mutual affection” fund, “golden heart fund”…, have been set up and absorbed enthusiastic response from numerous workers.
All the above activities have contributed to building up the solidarity bloc among workers while affirming the vanguard role of workers in the process of national industrialization and modernization.
