Currently, the lives of a part of workers, especially those who are unemployed, hit by fatal diseases, labor accidents...still face many difficulties. They really need material and spiritual support to overcome difficulties and rise up in life. Over the past time, along with the implementation of policies to ensure social welfare, the province and trade unions at all levels strengthened solutions to support and ensure social welfare for workers.
To provide practical support for workers with extremely difficult circumstances, in 2020, provincial Labor Union established a fund for workers with extremely difficult circumstances. So far, the fund has supported more than 900 workers with occupational diseases, workplace accidents, fatal diseases... Millions of trade unionists and workers with difficult circumstances have received material and spiritual support from provincial trade unions at all levels. The specific and practical actions of provincial trade unions at all levels have contributed to promoting the role and position of workers and are truly a solid support for them. In addition, province-based enterprises have coordinated with trade unions at all levels to take care of the lives of workers, bringing lots of practical significance, not only helping workers feel secure in their attachment, but also contributing to improving production-business efficiency, positively contributing to the local goals on socio-economic development.
Although there has been a positive recovery, it is predicted that in the coming time, enterprises will still face difficulties, affecting the income and lives of workers. Therefore, together with enterprises, provincial trade unions at all levels need to focus on taking care of issues concerned by workers, especially participating in solving the situation of lack of orders, lack of jobs and reduced income of workers. Provincial trade unions at all levels will further coordinate with enterprises to maintain activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of trade unionists and workers, helping them overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives through practical programs.
With responsibility, care, sharing plus practical and effective solutions, provincial trade unions at all levels have affirmed their role as a reliable "fulcrum" for trade unionists and workers so that they can work and contribute with peace of mind. And, caring for and improving the material and spiritual lives of workers and ensuring their legitimate rights and interests is also one of the important goals to gather and unite the workforce - a valuable resource, contributing to building up a more and more prosperous Binh Duong.
