To help visually-impaired people meet and exchange together and to encourage them integrate into the community, the provincial society for visually-impaired people in cooperation with the local Culture Center held the 4th festival themed “Singing from heart” on Aug. 15.

Excellent contestants enjoy prizes.
The festival lured 27 items with the participation of about 100 contestants from 6 units. The participants’ items received great encouragement from audiences.
As a result, the provincial society for visually-impaired people won the first prize, followed by Ben Cat district for visually-impaired people and Di An town society for visually-impaired people. In addition, the organizing board granted 27 prizes to other excellent individuals and collectives.
On the occasion, the provincial sponsor society for orphan and disabled people and reps of provincial Chinese Committees donated 100 gifts to contestants.
Tran Van Em, chairman of the provincial society for visually-impaired people, said “The festival is a playground to spur and uphold art creation and find out art talents for training. Through the playground, we will choose the most excellent items for the national contest”.
