Six cases are mandatory to mask wearing during the coming holidays

On April 27, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch to departments, branches, mass organizations, People's Committees of nine districts, towns and cities and all people in the province on compliance with Covid-19 prevention and control during holidays of Hung Vuong's death anniversary, the 48th anniversary of the Southern liberation, National Reunification Day (April 30), and International Labor Day (May 1).

Receipt and transaction staff are required to wear face masks when in contact with customers.   

Accordingly, six cases are mandatory to wear a mask, including: People with symptoms of acute respiratory infection, people with or suspected to have Covid-19 infection; all cases present at medical facilities, isolation places, places of residence where people are isolated or under medical observation and supervision (except for people isolated in single rooms; people with respiratory failure; patients undergoing medical procedures; children under 5 years old); participants of public transport, applicable to all passengers, drivers, attendants, service staff, managers, workers at stations, bus stations, piers, waiting houses when in contact with passengers; service staff, managers and laborers in direct contact with customers at shopping centers, supermarkets, wholesale markets; service staff, managers, laborers, salespeople when interacting with customers and attendees at cultural and tourist facilities, places where events are held with a large concentration of people; record-receiving staff, transaction staff when contacting customers at the places of receiving dossiers and transaction places.

The official dispatch also emphasized that, while the Covid-19 is developing, in order to ensure the prevention and control of the disease during the upcoming holidays, localities and units urgently implement two important contents:  Adhere to wearing masks in public places, crowded places, disseminate information and advise people to follow the message (mask, disinfection, vaccination) along with the benefits and effectiveness of injection against Covid-19.
