Early October 2, Thuan An town’s Study Promotion Society held a get-together to mark the 22nd anniversary of the Vietnam Study Promotion Society (VSPS) and partially review the one-year implementation of the Decision No.448 of the VSPS Central Committee.
At the get-together, delegates reviewed the tradition of the VSPS, raising sectors, authorities at all levels and the whole society of study, talent promotion towards learning-based society. Under the Decision No.448, An Son commune and An Phu ward were selected for the pilot implementation of the models “Family fond of learning”, “Strain fond of learning” and “Community fond of learning”. As a result, they met criteria of these models that will be replicated in the remaining wards of the town.
On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee and the VSPS Central Committee honored 22 outstanding collectives, individuals in the emulation movement of study, talent promotion towards learning-based society last year. The VSPS Central Committee also awarded the memento of “For the cause of study, talent promotion” to 6 individuals making contributions to the local emulation movement of study, talent promotion towards learning-based society.
