On the morning of May 12, Binh Duong provincial Journalist Association coordinated with Binh Duong Radio and Television Station and Binh Duong Newspaper to open a training course on journalism skills to write news and articles on multi-platforms. Attending the opening ceremony was more than 130 trainees who are reporters, editors, technicians, press broadcasters, and television and radio agencies in the province.
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Do Van Thong, Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial Journalist Association, emphasized: “In the current digital era, information needs to be conveyed in many different, rich and diverse ways. Therefore, making news and stories on multi-platform and multimedia increasingly attracts more readers and audiences. The training course will be an opportunity for trainees to equip themselves with necessary skills to implement multi-platform and multimedia news and stories in the most convenient and vivid way.
At the opening ceremony, journalist, Master Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Content Development and Production of Thanh Nien guided the trainees to produce multimedia bulletins conveniently, suitable to each particularity and genre of the press in the current stage in order to reach the maximum public. On practical exercises of students, lecturers share some practical experience in the process of editing news and stories, and errors to avoid on making multi-platform and multimedia news feeds.
The training course takes place on 12 and 13 May.
