Remarkable results of socialization
After 5 years of implementing local project of cultural socialization and project of sport socialization, the province has so far reached encouraging results, contributing to develop local socio-economy and meet people’s demand.
Together with public cultural works invested by the State, private works have been developed in recent years. They include a VND2bil outdoor theatre in My Phuoc township invested by Becamex IDC, a 1,500sqm theatre in Thu Dau Mot town park invested by Thanh Le Trade-Import & Export Company and so on.
Additionally, local industrial parks and businesses often hold many cultural and sport activities and cooperate with the local sector of culture, sport and tourism to organize art and sport contests in service for workers’ entertainment demand.
In terms of public sport, the number of people involving in sport activities increases highly compared with the proposed goals. Annually, the local department of Culture, Sport and Tourism in cooperation with agencies and mass bodies holds sport contests for workers, students, teenagers, old people, public servants and so on.
As for high achievement sport, the instruction of sport socialization has lured sources for high achievement sport’s development. Sponsor units such as Becamex Binh Duong football team, Binh Duong Environment and Water Supply Company and so on have greatly contributed to local sport achievements.
For tourism field, the local tourism work has been over the past year developed strongly. The local transparent policies have offered favorable conditions for investors to develop tourism sites. Especially, Dai Nam Van Hien Paradise has been under expansion whilst other tourism areas have catered for tourists effectively.
Efficiency of tourism sites has contributed to spur local economic development in general and local sector of culture, sport and tourism in particular.

The Party and State’s instruction of socialization on all areas has satisfied people’s aspiration and develop their potential internal force.
Based on achievements of socialization on culture, sport and tourism activity, from now till 2015, the local sector of culture, sport and tourism will eye implementation of socialization and combine business on culture, sport and tourism with service provision according to regulations as well as expand exchange and international cooperation on culture, sport and tourism.
Till 2015, the province will strive to perfect and stabilize institutions on culture and sport with 100% of districts and towns having culture and sport centers and libraries, 55-60% of communes, wards and townships having cultural centers.
Besides, the province will encourage to set up private museums to introduce cultural heritages and will spur socialization to uphold values of cultural historic relics.
