After four years of self-managed grouping program implementation, success has been thanks to efforts of Fatherland Front Committee and Natural Resources and Environment Department since 2007.

Yesterday’s morning of November 4, provincial market control has joined involved agencies in destroying a large amount of goods and conficated goods that violated regulations of quality and industrial properties. The amount included 2,050 helmets, over 6,300 poor quality pirated CD and VCD, foods of fake brand names, etc.

Since early this year, Vinh Tan commune in Tan Uyen district has made efforts in the task of hunger eradication and poverty reduction, including mobilizing organizations and individuals to grant scholarships worth VND14.9mln for 31 pupils, present 453 gifts worth VND42.7mln to other pupils; providing medical check-ups for 450 pupils and eye surgeries for 32 people with a total cost of VND41mln; granting 231 health insurance cards to the poor; teaming up with the local mass organizations to disburse VND260mln in loan for 26 households…

Over the past 10 years, numerous unlucky children have enjoyed literacy at charity classes in Tran Quoc Toan high school in Thuan An district’s Lai Thieu township. Despite difficulties of life, young people and workers still patiently lighten dreams for unlucky children.

More than 150 officials and soldiers from the Regiment 271 and the Battalion D60, on Oct.30, helped residents in Phu Giao district’s Phuoc Sang commune  make over 4km of rural road and tidy up Phuoc Sang primary school and kindergarten.

Since early this year, provincial health sector has cooperated with individuals and organizations at home and abroad to provide free medical check-ups, medicine and gifts for 4,700 needy patients and policy beneficiary families with a total expense of nearly VND230mln.

Le Van Ban, 80, in TDM town’s Phu My ward, on Oct.29,  handed over 20 bags of clothes raised by his relatives to the Relief Committee under provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC). Prior to that, Phuong, a small trader at TDM market also provided many clothes as relief aid as to people in the flood-hit central provinces. It is known that locals still continue raising cash and gifts for flood victims.

The provincial Red Cross Society held an exchange with the local disabled people on Oct. 29. Many local disabled people have overcome their inferiority complex to stabilize life and join in social activities.

B.BD Club is inviting U23 Vietnam team to join in an exchange football match to raise fund for flood victims in the central region.

A music show entitled “Young city melody” aiming at catering for local young workers’ spiritual life will take place at My Phuoc on Oct. 30. The program is co-held by BTV and Becamex IDC and is broadcasted on BTV1 channel.

Implementing the Politburo’s Instruction No.55/CT-TU and the provincial party committee’s plan 21/KH-TU on “strengthening the leadership of grassroot party committees for children protection and education”, children protection and education has been paid much attention by the local administration.
