Early May 11, Tan Uyen district held a conference highlighting outstanding individuals in the local voluntary blood donation.

Phu Giao district’s Red Cross Society held a ceremony to mark the 147th anniversary of International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (May 8, 1863-May 8, 2010).

Mrs. Phan Thi Hoa, who is acting Director of Environment Protection Fund (EPF) under Department of Natural resources and Environment, has confirmed that the fund is non-profitable and for the sake of province’s sustainable development and environment protection and remedies in all fields and industries.

Mrs. Ho Thuy Nga, born in 1959, living in hamlet 4, An Phu commune, Thuan An district, suffering a fatal disease is in dire need of help. 22 years ago, after divorce, Nga managed to bring up a 10 year old daughter and a newly born boy.

In the third Department of Internal Medicine, one woman has been taking the hospital as her home for over 10 years. She has been helped by physicians and relatives of patients. Her name is Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa, born in 1960, once residing at Binh My village, Tan Uyen district. She suffers from base dow (bulging eyeballs) and mental retardation.

Bank of Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has just announced 1% cut of interest rate effective from May 4th for business loans, making the maximum negotiable rate be 13% a year.
