On the afternoon of June 28, provincial People’s Council’s Socio-Cultural Commission held a meeting to verify draft reports, resolutions of the 4th session of provincial People’s Council.
Attending the meeting were Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council; members of provincial People’s Council’s Socio-Cultural Commission; leaders of relevant departments and sectors.
The meeting considered and approved draft reports on the local socio-economic development in the first haft of 2017, orientations and tasks for the rest of the year; the regulation of school fee collection from 2017-2018 to 2020-2021 academic years for public preschool and high school education. In addition, provincial People’s Council’s Socio-Cultural Commission also ratified a report on its operational results in the first half of 2017, orientations and tasks for the rest of the year.
At the meeting, members of provincial People’s Council’s Socio-Cultural Commission also reached unanimity on the status of the local socio-cultural fields’ good development, especially activities in celebration of great holidays and the national “Don ca tai tu” (southern folk music) festival 2017.
