*BETU holds memorial ceremony for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong
On July 26, provincial Executive Board of Buddhist Sangha solemnly organized a memorial ceremony for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the Nirvana Buddha Cultural Center - Hoi Khanh Pagoda in Thu Dau Mot city’s Phu Cuong ward.
Provincial leaders and delegates solemnly commemorate Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong
The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Council; Bui Thanh Nhan, member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission; members of provincial Executive Board of Buddhist Sangha, Buddhist dignitaries; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, Thu Dau Mot city and residents of Thu Dau Mot city.
In profound sorrow and mourning, to express their respect and gratitude for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, provincial leaders, along with delegates and residents, observed a moment of silence, solemnly offered incense in memory and paid their respects and farewell to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, Head of the Legal Department of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Central Committee and Head of provincial Executive Board of Buddhist Sangha, conducted a traditionally praying ceremony.
*On the morning of July 26, Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology (BETU) held a memorial ceremony for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. During the state funeral period, the university set up an altar for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, allowing staff, Party members, lecturers, employees, students to offer incense and express their respect for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, over 200 staff members, Party members, lecturers, employees and students of the university gathered to observe a moment of silence, paying tribute to the significant contributions of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the Party, the State and the people.
During the memorial ceremony, Phan Thanh Nhan, Secretary of BETU’s Party Committee expressed: "In profound sorrow and mourning, all staff and students of the school respectfully bowed before the spirit of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. The university pledges to study and follow the example of the Party General Secretary who devoted wholeheartedly to the country and the people; unite and strive to excel at teaching and learning, with determination to build it into a model institution in the region. The name, career, character and tremendous contributions of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will forever live in our hearts and remain immortal in the history of the Vietnamese nation".
*On the same morning, the Party cell and Trade Union of Astro Engineering Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Kim Huy Industrial Park in Thu Dau Mot city’s Phu Tan ward jointly organized a memorial ceremony for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
In a solemn and deeply emotional atmosphere, over 600 workers from Astro Engineering Vietnam Co., Ltd. gathered to pay tribute to the significant contributions of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the Party, the nation and the people. Observing a moment of silence to commemorate the exceptional leader of our nation, the company's workers expressed their mixed feelings of emotion and pride, with profound affection for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
