Reportedly, the associations in the first half of the year raised VND224bln for humanitarian and charity activities such as offering relief aid to flood victims, providing capital support to difficult families, presenting gifts to the poor, etc.
For the rest of the year, the Red Cross Associations in Southeastern provinces will focus on 9 main tasks to boost propaganda and education work of compassion; speed up great emulation movements, namely “voluntary blood donation”, “Tet for the Poor”…; instruct their branches to promote emulation movements and strive to fulfill 2014’s tasks…
