Ministry of Health has just announced that Binh Duong has recognized one more Chinese specialist infected by Covid-19 immediately quarantined after entering the nation. The specialist of Chinese nationality was marked as patient 2473 on entering the nation through Tan Son Nhat airport on February 28 along with 14 others who were also staying in isolation at Dai Nam Hotel (13) and Tan Uyen town Medical Center (1). On March 1, the infected specialist was sampled in the first test that showed positive result for SARS-CoV-2. Currently the patient is quarantined and treated at Binh Duong provincial General Hospital.
Thus, as of the morning of March 3 in the province, 36 cases of Covid-19, including 27 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad as regulated by the Military Region 7, 3 foreign experts entering the nation, and 6 cases of infection in the community in Phu Giao district, Thu Dau Mot city, Thuan An city have been recorded. The total number of specialists entering Vietnam who are being quarantined in Binh Duong until now is 2,029. Currently, Dai Nam Hotel is a place for isolation and quarantine of 166 specialists and Saigon Park Resort Hotel 52 ones.
