This is an effective approach of provincial trade unions at all levels to care for trade unionists and workers, especially those with difficult circumstances. In this week's "I Love Binh Duong" program, we introduce the "Trade Union Shelter" program, with many humanitarian ways, helping workers to stay committed to Binh Duong for the long term.

The Tet (Lunar New Year) festival of the Year of the Snake 2025 is approaching and in the new homes, trade unionists and workers always feel warm. This is a significant and timely source of support and encouragement for workers who have been away from their hometowns to make a living in Binh Duong for many years.
The "Trade Union Shelter" program was launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2006. Since then, Binh Duong has implemented and awarded an average of 15 shelters per year. This has become a social activity with widespread impact, reflecting the spirit of solidarity, mutual support and compassion, which has been widely supported by trade unionists, civil servants, workers, agencies and units in the province. The "Trade Union Shelters" have helped many disadvantaged individuals have a place for living, enabling workers to stabilize their lives and remain committed to their work, considering Binh Duong as their second homeland.
It can be said that for many years, provincial Trade Union has stood by workers with many activities not only focusing on housing and schools for their children, but also addressing necessary cultural facilities at entertainment needs. Many sports events, cultural and artistic activities were organized by trade unions at all levels in 2024. All of these efforts have contributed to building the reputation of Binh Duong as a civilized, modern and affectionate province.
The program "I Love Binh Duong" conducted by Binh Duong Newspaper, will be broadcast at 6 AM on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at www.baobinhduong.vn and on Binh Duong Newspaper's social media platforms such as YouTube and Facebook... The program will introduce the episode of "Standing by Workers" to readers. Through this, it aims at highlighting humanitarian aspects of in caring for trade unionists and workers of the province’s entire political system.
