In order to take care of young workers, create many healthy playgrounds and places, shorten the distance between young workers and local young ones, many organizations of Youth Union in the province effectively implemented practical models to gather, attract, and take care of material and spiritual life of young workers and their children.
Apart from taking care of young workers, in recent years, many organizations of Youth Union in the province have also focused on implementing models to take care of young worker’s children in order to gather and attract more young workers to Youth Unions and Associations. Pham Chien Thang, Youth Union Secretary of Di An Town, said the experiencing model "One day I was a soldier" and "My summer camp" for young worker’s children in An Binh ward, Di An Town was a practical model. Accordingly, to implement the model "One day I was a soldier", the town Youth Union organized a visit at 4th Corps Museum for children of young workers and experience of being a soldier at Battalion 26 with training activities, such as defense skills, morning exercises, clothing folding... The activity attracted 140 children of young workers. In addition, the program "My Summer Camp" for young individuals, who are self-employed in the ward, with activities such as cooking competition between youth branches, folk games, and cultural exchanges, attracting 5,000 participants; thereby, taking good care of the material and spiritual life of young workers in the area.
Di An town Youth Union organizes programs to take care of young worker’s children to attract, unite and gather young workers from the grassroots level.
These programs were designed to create a meaningful and healthy playground for students, who are children of young workers, disadvantaged workers in lodging houses, social houses, students of compassionate classes in the area, thereby contributing to the necessary qualities and skills for them to enter life, overcome difficulties to learn well and protect themselves. In addition to taking care of young worker’s children, the town Youth Union continued to maintain and organize the model "The journey of young workers" in Tan Binh Ward. This model has brought about practical results, good changes in meeting forms, attracted more and more young participants.
Prominently, in 2018, Tan Binh ward Youth Union organized many new activities to attract young participants. It was "The journey of young workers" themed "Tan Binh - Our hometown" and program "Lighting up dreams of Vietnamese youth", giving gifts to disadvantaged young workers at branches. In this journey, young members participated in the visit and listened to a brief introduction of historical places in Tan Binh ward such as Memorial Temple, Ma 35, Mach Mang stream. In addition, the members also visited and gave gifts to disadvantaged young workers at branches. Additionally, each participant in the journey was also a voluntary law propagators, who delivered leaflets to lodging houses in the ward. The program created a really interesting and meaningful period.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, acknowledged: “From effective models to take care of young workers, in the coming time Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will continue to expand these models in the whole province to promote creativity, ambition, voluntary spirit of the youth, creating a devoted and mature environment for young people, especially young workers; to form a young generation, who are compassionate, intellectual, healthy, and own good social skills, to contribute to the building a prosperous and civilized Binh Duong homeland ”.
Addressing at the 3-year preliminary sum-up meeting of project "To unite and gather young workers in Binh Duong Province in the period of 2016-2020", Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, Head The Steering Committee, emphasized the importance of project implementation in 2019. It was necessary to integrate various communication forms to correspond with the needs of young workers; bringing into play the role and tasks of the core forces and propagandists; creating cohesion among unions, using resources to care for more and more young workers.
