Early December 26, provincial People's Committee held a conference to review the five-year implementation of the Prime Minister’s Directive No. 02/CT-TTg dated November 15, 2019 on enhancing the protection of State secrets in the current context and summarize State secret protection in the province for 2024, in attendance of Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee.
Over the past years, units and localities in the province have implemented various flexible measures to disseminate and internalize Directive No. 02 among officials, public servants, employees, soldiers and workers. Additionally, through meetings and thematic activities, many agencies and units integrated contents on dissemination, education and implementation of regulations on the protection of State secrets. This contributed to raising awareness and actions among individuals and organizations regarding State secret protection. Heads of agencies and units focused on directing the issuance of internal regulations for protecting State secrets within their organizations and monitoring compliance with legal provisions, policies and internal rules on State secret protection.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Thanh stated that 2025 will witness numerous significant political events. Therefore, provincial People's Committee will continuously lead and direct agencies, units and localities to enhance awareness among officials, public servants, Party members and citizens regarding the Party and State's guidelines and regulations on State secret protection.
