Binh Duong New City has been more and more beautiful in the days drawing near to Tet Holiday with colorful flags and lights along the streets. The establishments in charge of arranging the flower street are hurried to put their work into services for local people during Tet holiday.

Mr. Le Huu Phuoc, Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that to introduce the development of Binh Duong New City to the public, Binh Duong Province, ever since its putting the concentrated administrative center into use and from 2015 on, decided to moved the flower streets from Bach Dang Street at Phu Cuong Ward in Thu Dau Mot Town to the venue of Binh Duong New City. Describing the depiction and design of the flower street, Mr. Le Huu Phuoc informed that cultural values were integrated into the arrangements to create colorful spring and expression of socio-economic development of the province during its stage of industrialization, modernization and global integration. Besides, the theme includes the love for homeland and determination of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee for more and more development. Visiting the Binh Duong flower street, the people should find the cultural features of Vietnamese at the caligraph stalls and stalls of handicrafts.
The flower street was initiated by the approval of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee regarding activities of celebrating the Party and Year of the Goat 2015; however, organizers admitted of challenges while arranging flowers on narrow street with shadow making. Besides, the contractors should be attentive as the flowers could last shortly for the event.
“We are looking forward to awareness of visitors in preserving the arrangements made on the street. We are hopeful that Binh Duong flower street in 2015 shall become one of the visiting sites of domestic and foreign visitors during Tet Holiday,” said Phuoc.
