Getting ready for 2025, local communities are actively focusing on tasks such as beautifying urban landscapes and improving environmental sanitation to welcome the new spring. Recently, the streets of Binh Duong have started to don a "new shirt" adorned with vibrant and brilliant colors.

In recent days, local communities and organizations have been working diligently to renovate urban areas and complete various projects in preparation for the new year. The roads and street corners are gradually being transformed with bright lights and vibrant flowers.

To celebrate the new year, the People's Committee of Dau Tieng District has planned several spring welcome activities. These will take place in front of the District Party Committee, the People's Council, and the People's Committee on Hung Vuong Street, as well as at the Dau Tieng Victory Monument, Acacia Roundabout, 13-3 Street, and the welcome gates of Cau Duc and Cau Cat. At each location, the district will adorn the areas with lights, flowers, and miniature landscapes themed "Spring of the Snake," alongside representations of the Dau Tieng District. Additionally, green trees will be included in the decorations to enhance the festive atmosphere and serve the needs of the community as they celebrate the New Year.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Vice Chairman of the Dau Tieng District People's Committee, said that currently, the decoration works are about 90% completed. The district also directed construction units to ensure the set schedule to serve people during the New Year and Lunar New Year 2025. New Year celebration activities should be conducted with sincerity and thoughtfulness, aiming to foster a joyful and exciting atmosphere for everyone in the district. Tet decorations should be designed for long-term use, and the planning and execution must prioritize practicality, safety, economy, and efficiency.

“The district has instructed the People's Committees of communes and towns to create a plan for decorating for Tet 2025. The focus should be on enhancing the headquarters, neighborhood and hamlet offices, and main roads. This plan should aim to promote a joyful, healthy, and economical atmosphere while also educating the public about the nation's glorious traditions and meeting the entertainment needs of all members of the community", Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung added.

In celebration of the upcoming New Year, Tan Uyen City has adorned the welcome gate and streets with festive decorations. The New Year decoration project will feature decorations throughout the inner city of Uyen Hung Ward, along with large welcome gates on various routes leading into the city, such as: Rach Tre Bridge welcome gate, Bayer Company three-way intersection welcome gate, Muoi Muon three-way intersection welcome gate. Public areas are also decorated to welcome the new year.

In cities and districts, the atmosphere of Tet is becoming more vibrant as many projects are hastily completing their final stages. All urban beautification efforts for Tet focus on the theme of celebrating the Party and welcoming Spring. Local authorities are particularly emphasizing decorations at major traffic intersections, public spaces, and entertainment venues to meet the entertainment, recreational, and cultural needs of people during the New Year.

Spring colors

Experience the vibrant atmosphere of the year's end by joining the crowd on the streets. Many thoroughfares are adorned with bright floral decorations, eagerly anticipating the new year. Parks and public spaces are filled with the colors of spring. Various streets and welcoming gates are starting to showcase colorful New Year banners. The carefully arranged designs enhance the streets, making them stand out and feel fresh.

At Bach Dang Walking Street in Thu Dau Mot City, urban workers are diligently planting and maintaining the green tree system. They are also finalizing the decoration of unique miniature landscapes, which promise to be an attractive spot for travel and photography for visitors during the upcoming New Year and Lunar New Year in 2025.

“My friends and I often visit Bach Dang Walking Street in the evenings. I really enjoy the decorative miniatures there; they not only beautify the city but also create a fun and entertaining space for everyone. Once the projects are completed, I plan to invite my friends to come and take photos," Nguyen Van Thanh, a student at Thu Dau Mot University, said.

The streets of Thuan An City are starting to take on a "new coat" in preparation for spring. The city has also prioritized accelerating the beautification of urban areas and streets to enhance the experience for residents during the spring and New Year holidays. Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Tien, a resident of An Thanh ward (Thuan An city), expressed, "Seeing the streets bright means Tet is coming. Going out to listen to spring music, seeing lanterns, and decorating with apricot and peach blossoms is like feeling the atmosphere of the New Year. According to Ms. Tien, it has become a tradition for her and the community to join hands with the local government at the end of the year to clean up their neighborhood. This effort aims to make the streets cleaner and more beautiful. Despite the busyness of the year-end, everyone is happy to contribute to this cause.

There is exactly one month left until Lunar New Year 2025. At intersections and parks, flowers, colorful flags, banners, billboards, and posters are being displayed to celebrate significant events, all expressing hopes for a peaceful new year filled with happiness and success. As people walk the streets these days, they can sense the refreshing arrival of spring. The streets are busier, and a happier atmosphere prevails.
