Helping husband
Do Thi My Dung, born in 1979 in Thuan An town is working as a worker at a construction site to give a helping hand to her husband to support 2 children and an old mother. Her husband, Nguyen Van Si has worked as a mason for 10 years with an income of VND170,000/day and she has worked as a helper with an income of VND100,000 per day. Despite burning hot and hard work, she has helped her husband to share their family’s burden.

Asked about her dream, she said “I hope my children will get good academic results, my mother-in-law will enjoy a good health”. She does not think of herself.
Shouldering whole family
Meanwhile, Phan Phu Thi Kieu Nga has a part-time job as a motorbike washer to support her family. Born in 1974, she looks older than her real age.
Her elder brother has suffered a disablement of 84% after a traffic accident. Therefore, she has worked as a hairdresser and motorbike washer to support her children, her brother’s 2 children and her mother whilst her sister-in-law spends much time to take care of her brother.
Over the past 4 years, she has divorced and must work to support a 7-member family. With a modest income, she has to save at a maximum level to assist her family. Replying her efforts, her brother’s 2 children always get good academic results.
