At any stage, students are always considered as pioneers in active movements, especially in learning and training. In the stage when the country is integrating into the world, together with students from the whole country, pupils and students of the province increasingly demonstrate the ability to think creatively and take initiatives to build up more and more civilized and modern nation.

The most visible activity is the scientific research movements. At present, this activity is focused on universities, thereby contributing to improve the quality of training. Research helps them to improve their thinking, exploring, and applying the knowledge they have learned in practice. Showing self-responsibility, society, students of Thu Dau Mot University today passionate research. To participate in the research contest for students organized by the university, the more we see the passion of the students through their projects of application to the reality. They continue to reap the high academic awards at regional level. Specifically, in 2017, at the Ministry of Science and Technology students' competition, they had 4 entries and won 2 prizes and 2 consolation prizes. According to the Board of Trusties, most of students' ideas and research topics are derived from solving problems in the field of training or practical issues in life, in accordance with their abilities. Students are also well-acquainted with the publication of research results from their subject at a number of conferences, in-and-out scientific seminars and scientific journals.
In the 4.0 industrial revolution process as well as construction of smart cities, provincial students increasingly show their bravery and ability to think creatively throughout the learning process. Students from VGU, studying in the international environment is an ideal condition for them to engage in science. At the recent Smart City conference held in the province in November 2017, VGU students have resonated with the highest prize at Hackney Pacific Intelligent City 2017. Ha Thuc Vien, the acting Principal, said that students' scientific research is an intellectual activity to help them apply the methodology of scientific research in the study and in practice by which the students could first apply the method and then the knowledge to carry out research-based cognitive activity so as to initially contribute to solve scientific problems caused in real life and occupation so that it can be deepened and expanded along with knowledge improvement.
Students in universities is so, high school students are not inferior to their senior in learning and creativity. Although it has been in operation for 7 years, Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School in Thuan An Town has made remarkable advanced learning movements. At the provincial science and technology competition in 2017, two projects of school students won the third prize for Nguyen Thi To Van and Nguyen Huu Nhan. By initial successes, they continue to complete the project to confidently and attend the upcoming national exams.
Demonstrating learning capacity, students in the province also apply interdisciplinary knowledge to study, as well as to solve practical situations. Nguyen Duc Tuan, Vice Principal of Chanh Nghia Secondary School, remarked that students are active in learning of creativity in all fields. From the angles of everyday life, as well as the ground of learning, they have put their own problems and applied a variety of subjects to resolve them. Over the past years, the school has had provincial-level research projects and participated at the national level in the competition of "Using interdisciplinary knowledge to solve practical situations".
