On December 28, Provincial Police organized a information conference for universities, colleges, and junior colleges on the implementation results of Circular No. 124/2021/TT-BCA of the Ministry of Public Security regulating educational establishments meeting the standards of "Safety, security and order" in 2023. Colonel Pham Quoc Dung, Deputy Director of Provincial Police, chaired the conference with representatives of universities, colleges and vocational training centers in the province.
In 2023, 15 schools in the province registered to build schools that meet "Safety, security and order" standards. The Provincial Police Department has coordinated with schools to exchange and capture information and public opinion of schools and students, organized information dissemination campaigns for employees and students about methods and tricks of all types of crimes to uphold vigilance, prevention and appropriate handling.
For dormitories and boarding houses, schools appoint management staff and focus on propagation so that house owners and students would raise their spirit of vigilance with the motto "Self-management - self-defense - self-protection".
In fire prevention and fighting, schools have coordinated with the fire prevention and fighting force of Provincial and Local Police to periodically check equipment and train staff and students to ensure fire safety.
