The owner of a flower shop was a group of students pooling and carrying out “trading campaign”. Their toolkit was only a water bucket and huge flower bunches bought from Sai Gon or Da Lat markets. On the opposite side of the street, many male students also made their little flower shop ready for customer service.
Nguyen Thanh Trang, a student of Thu Dau Mot University said: “I have sold flowers for 2 years. On March 8th every year, I and some room-mates contributed money to buy flowers from Da Lat for selling. Purchasing power of this year is higher than last year, so that we can earn money to improve life standards and accumulate a lot of social experiences. The most important thing is that through flower selling we can make our lives more beautiful”.
With a special meaning of the Women’s Day March 8th, students were glad not only about additional incomes for their study, but also that their actions could sow the seeds of happiness in the busy life.
