Currently, the Covid-19 wave in the province is raging, the whole province is implementing social distancing according to Directive No. 16 of the Prime Minister, while the new school year 2021-2022 is approaching. In order to support teachers and students in the new school year, provincial Department of Education and Training has cooperated with publishers to provide electronic textbooks from grade 1 to grade 12 for students. Currently, schools in the province have been sending e-textbook links to students and parents to guide them to through online learning applied in the first two months of new school year.
Nguyen Thi Nhat Hang, Director of provincial Department of Education and Training, said that to meet requirements of teaching activities, the Department is coordinating with Department of Industry and Trade and publishers to find suitable solutions to supply textbooks; some basic learning tools will also be provided directly to every student as soon as possible to ensure effective teaching and learning, including online teaching.
In the school year 2021-2022, the province has 728 schools, an increase of 9 schools; is expected to have about 518,270 students at all levels, an increase of 20,468 students compared to the 2020-2021 school year.
