Binh Duong provincial Steering Committee for Crime Prevention and Social Evils and Building the Movement of all people to Protect Fatherland Security (hereinafter referred to as Committee 138) of the province has just held a meeting to agree on activities to respond to the June 26 2023 day of people’s drug prevention. According to the draft plan to organize activities of the provincial People's Committee, the launching ceremony this year will be held in Tan Uyen city Square with about 700 participants. As part of a series of response activities, the Department of Education and Training will organize a competition for composing pictures on drug prevention for students at all levels.
Winning entries will be displayed at the launching ceremony and at the Center for Culture, Sports and Radio of Tan Uyen city. Meanwhile, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will also organize a delegation to visit and give gifts to detoxing trainees at the provincial drug rehabilitation facility and 2 counseling and support points for drug addicts while giving gifts to good drug addicts in recovery. Particularly, the povincial Youth Union presides over organizing delegations to visit, encourage and support typical clubs, teams and groups of grassroots Youth Union in drug prevention. According to the Committee 138, activities to respond to this year's All People's Day against Drugs are aimed at raising people's awareness about the consequences and harmful effects of drugs on social life; thereby, arousing the sense of responsibility of each citizen in participating in the prevention of drug crimes and drug crimes, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the province.
