Ms. 60-year-old Nguyen Thi Thu keeps learning to develop her
business and activities of An Dien commune’s Study Promotion SocietyMs. Thu has been Front team leader of Tan Lap hamlet, Vice chairman of An Dien commune’s Study Promotion Society and identified herself with the Union for 10 years. She has worked actively, integrated guidelines, policies, laws and contents of “Learning and following uncle Ho’s teaching”, “Constructing a cultural life” movements into meetings of Study Promotion Society for women to understand, follow. She has spent time visiting members’ families to listen to their wishes, sympathize with their difficulties in cultural life constructing and then can support them.She is now the producing business owner including one of Chinese sausage package and one of ice. Although she is busy with business activities, she does many charity works. In addition to her friends and relatives, she also mobilized contributions of businesses to charity. Thereby, 41 children with difficulties were enabled to go to school with VND58 mln as total value of mobilized money amount. Additionally, there are some families still having obsolete prejudges in regard to childbirth, thus Ms. Thu and some women visited house of each member to persuade them to implement two-children-having families model. In spite of her 60 years old, she has taken part in management board of provincial Business Women Club to learn business experiences; and group of benefactors to construct “Compassion houses”…With her depth, friendliness, and responsibility, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu has done well her duties, developed activities of An Dien commune’s Study Promotion Society.
