On August 5th, Binh Duong province Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Public Security, and Department of Natural Resources – Environment organized a conference to summarize 5 implementation years of the movement "All people protect national security" and "All the people to participate in environmental protection" in the 2011-2015 period. Mr. Huynh Van Nhi, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee cum Chairman of provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, attended the conference.
The movement "All people protect national security" was launched by provincial Public Security, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and its member organizations. After 5 years, the movement has been implemented comprehensively, effectively in most residential areas in the province. Many models were established and replicated, like: “Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee participates in crime prevention", “Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee participates in drug prevention”, "All people participate in HIV / AIDS prevention in residential areas”.
Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its affiliates in collaboration with local government carried out the project “Encouraging all people to participate in crime prevention, detection, denouncement, and converting criminals in families and community”; the project “Building communes, wards and towns, residential areas without drug use" and the movement “Building healthy communes, wards without drug use, prostitution and AIDS" combined with the movement "All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas".
After 5 implementation years of the movement "All the people to participate in environmental protection", the cooperation between provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Department of Natural Resources – Environment to implement the Joint Action Resolution on environmental protection, resources management and use in the 2011-2015 period has been tightened. Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its affiliates performed propaganda activities, diversified forms of activities in order to raising awareness and responsibility of all levels and people. Through the model “"Autonomous group of environmental protection", many localities put forward good, creative, effective practices receiving positive response from all people.
On this occasion, PPC awarded certificates of merit to 12 collectives and 12 individuals having outstanding achievements in the movement "All people protect national security", 6 excellent collectives and 6 individuals in the movement "All the people to participate in environmental protection". Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee conferred certificates of merit on 14 excellent collectives, 14 individuals in the movement All the people to participate in environmental protection, crime prevention, drug use prevention in the 2011-2015 period. In addition, provincial Public Security awarded certificates of merit to 11 collectives and 11 individuals in the movement "All people protect national security" in the 2011-2015 period.
