Binh Duong Industrial Parks Management Board yesterday held a summing up conference on implementing Fire Control Law at local IPs.
Over the past 10 years, awareness on fire control at IPs has been improved, especially businesses’ implementation of the law minimized the number of fires and explosions and losses.
Reportedly, from 2001 till the end of 2nd quarter of 2011, there were 41 fires at IPs, accounting for 7.88% of total fires in the province. The reason was from power leak and negligence. At the conference, reps of businesses and infrastructure facility companies raised their difficulties.
Tran Van Lieu, head of the Binh Duong Industrial Parks Management Board highly assessed the work of fire control at IPs and stressed that promulgation on fire control law should be strengthened among laborers.
In the coming time, local functional agencies will map out action plans to urge businesses to join in. on the occasion, the management board granted merit certificates to 20 typical units for their achievements of fire control.
