Deputies at the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the provincial support center for young workers.
On Nov. 9, the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee inaugurated the Support Center for Young Workers at NA7 road, My Phuoc III industrial park, Ben Cat town.
Nguyen Manh Dung, secretary of the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee participated in the opening ceremony.
The Support Center for Young Workers was established and put into operation in 2013. This is the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union‘s pilot model of launching activities for young laborers. The Center is located on an area of 15,446sqm including functional areas and support works such as office, service area and pre-school for young workers’ children. The total investment capital of this work is worth of VND95.7bil, of which VND47.6bil is from the central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and VND48.1bil is from local capital.
After 3 years of construction, the center has been completed and put into operation, contributing to take care of local laborers better.
On this occasion, there were many activities such as sport festival for local young workers, free health check-up, free hair-cutting, free consultancies of family, marriage, laws, reproduction healthcare as well as folk games. In addition, the organizing board granted 150 gifts for needy young workers and their children.
