*Giving gifts for the poor amid Covid-19
In order to support businesses and young workers facing difficulties, due to the impacts of Covid-19 pandemic, provincial Support Center or Young Workers organized a program on "Supporting 65 tons of rice for businesses and young workers."
Accordingly, rice products will be sold for young workers at a cheaper price than the market. Young workers can buy from 50-100kg of rice per person. The place to buy rice products with cheap price is at the headquarters of provincial Support Center for Young Workers on NA7 street, My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park, Ben Cat town. The program is implemented at 8 am on Sundays.
*With the support of Ngoc Dien-Ruby Land Trading Service Co., Ltd, on June 17, members of the Golden Lotus charity group in Thu Dau Mot city offered 400 gifts worth VND 300,000 each to people facing difficulties, due to the impacts of Covid-19 pandemic in Thu Dau Mot city’s Phu Cuong, Hiep An wards and Tan Uyen town’s Tan Phuoc Khanh ward. It is known that each gift includes 5kg of rice, instant noodles, sugar, soy sauce, cooking oil, seasoning powder and cakes.
On this occassion, the charity group also gave gifts worth VND500,000 in cash each for 10 lonely elderly people; donated gifts worth VND5million in cash each to 2 families having members with disability or fatal disease; upgraded houses for 2 lonely elderly people with total expense of VND 10 million.
