Morning August 26th, Economic - Budget Commission inspectorate under provincial People’s Council led by Mr. Nguyen Tam Duong, Deputy Chief of the commission, had a meeting with Bau Bang district People’s Committee on the planning and construction of drainage systems outside industrial parks in the district.
Bau Bang district has established Bau Bang industrial park and urban area with a total area of 2,200 ha. This new industrial park and urban area has 3 water gates located at Tu Van I and II lake, Ben Van stream (Lai hung commune) and Ba Tu stream (Cay Truong II commune). The district has not fulfilled the planning of drainage systems outside the industrial park yet; is merely dredging and clearing water flows. Particularly, Tu Van I and II lake were upgraded by Binh Duong Water Supply Sewerage – Environment Company in 2013.
On the same day, the inspectorate and Bau Bang district leadership conducted a field inspection at some local water gates and lakes. The delegation also noted opinions of local leaders about the planning and construction of drainage systems outside industrial park in the future.
