Morning August 28th, Taiwanese Merchants Association in Binh Duong province in collaboration with North Tan Uyen district Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Bureau visited and gave gifts to Tu Tam Nhan Ai social welfare center in Thuong Tan commune.
Poor persons in Tan Hiep ward (Tan Uyen town) were happy with gifts presented by Lode Star Company.
Tu Tam Nhan Ai social welfare center is the home of more than 120 social subjects including: orphans, disabled, lonesome elderly… Facility and resources of the center are limited, thus contributions of organizations and benefactors are in need to take care of these needy persons.
The delegation offered 500kg of rice, 10 boxes of instant noodle, 10 gifts worth totally more than VND50 million to the center. On occasion of Vu Lan Festival 2015, provincial Taiwanese Merchants Association will present 800 gifts, 265 boxes of instant noodle, and 2,000kg of rice worth totally more than VND300 million to charity organizations.
- On the same day, Lode Star Company located in Tan Hiep ward (Tan Uyen town) in collaboration with Tan Hiep ward Red Cross to gave 100 gifts worth VND400,000 each including rice, canned fish and other essential foods to poor people in Tan Hiep ward. Board of directors of Lode Star Company said, with the spirit of solidarity, the company would continue to mobilize resources to offer 100 more gifts to local poor persons.
