Taking care of needy, disabled children on Tet

Every time Tet approaches, provincial Children’s Support Fund plans to mobilize organizations and individuals to give significant gifts for poor and disabled children, helping them enjoy Tet and try harder in study. The “Spring journey” program 2017 has also begun…

“Spring” smiles

The “Spring journey” program 2017 has just been started from Tu tam Nhan Ai charity center in Tan Uyen town. It took place very animated with meaningful art items performed by children at the center. Following this, provincial Children’s Support Fund and donors offered 180 gifts worth VND300,000 each to children at the center. The center was also supported VND50million, presented a playground valued at VND200million together with milk products worth VND75million.

On this occasion, Thuan An town’s Center for Disabled Children were also given gifts, milk products and money with VND446million.

 “All children enjoy Tet”

Ho Quang Diep, Director of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) has made the statement. He added that child care, protection and education are the responsibility of the whole society. The “Spring journey” program 2017 will bring the joy to disadvantaged children. In the coming time, provincial DoLISA will further call for enterprises and donors to offer more help to children, especially needy and disabled ones.

Over the past years, province-based companies accompanied provincial Children’s Support Fund in taking care of poor and disabled children by practical deeds. Binh Duong Minerals-Construction Joint Stock Company is a typical example for this. On the Tet festival 2017, the company has also spent hundreds of millions of dong on supporting children with difficult circumstances.

NutiFood also goes along with the “Spring journey” program 2017 held by provincial Children’s Support Fund with hundreds of milk boxes given. Regarding social charity activities, Pham The Anh, Sales Manager of NituFood in the southeastern region said that with the spirit of “The good leaves protect the worn-out ones”, NutiFood has gave disadvantaged children its best products with a desire of opportunely improving their nutrition for better development.

Nguyen Tan Trieu, Director of provincial Children’s Support Fund has also sent his thanks to units accompanying the fund via the “Spring journey” program 2017. With this effort, many children will enjoy a warm Tet. In the coming time, the fund wants that poor and disabled children will further receive more help from donors in and out of the province.
