Leader of Phuoc Vinh township offers saving books to the local policy beneficiaries
Le Long Hai, Vice-Chairman of Phuoc Vinh township’s People’s Committee said that along with the State’s policies, the ward will mobilize donors to offer more than 200 gifts worth VND400,000-VND600,000 each to the local social policy beneficiaries. Following the success of the “Art performance night raised fund for beloved juniors” program, the town this year will mobilize donors to award gifts, scholarships to the local poor-but-excellent pupils. Especially, the town’s People’s Committee will also organize delegations to visit and offer Tet gifts to the local policy beneficiaries and poor households.
Whilst, Nguyen Anh Vu, Chairman of Tam Lap communal People’s Committee said that since early December, 2020, the communal People’s Committee has implemented a plan giving Tet care to the local policy beneficiaries and poor people. It is expected that the commune will mobilize more than 400 Tet gifts worth VND300,000 each for the local poor and near-poor households…
Paying tribute to policy beneficiary families, revolutionary contributors
From now to the Tet festival 2021, there will be additional thousands of Tet gifts from localities, donors for policy beneficiary families and poor households in Phu Giao district. Apart from Tet gifts from the State’s policies, the district will actively mobilize organizations, enterprises and individuals to support gifts for the local policy beneficiaries, revolutionary contributors, poor people and workers who are not able to return home for Tet. The district will also organize delegations to visit and extend Tet greetings to the local heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy beneficiary families with difficult circumstances. The district’s Youth Union has also made a plan to take Tet care of the local war invalids, martyrs ‘families, lonely heroic Vietnamese mothers while organizing delegations to enjoy Tet with the local policy beneficiary families on Lunar New Year’s Eve or cleaning up martyrs’cemeteries…
Tran Hong Dung, Vice-Chairwoman of Phu Giao district’s People’s Committee said that the district has early prepared a plan to take Tet care of the local policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors. Noticeably, the district’s People’s Committee has instructed the local Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to set up 11 delegations to visit and extend Tet greetings to heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy beneficiary families, revolutionary contributors and those having difficult circumstances, which is slated for February 2, 2021 (December 24 of lunar calendar). The district’s People’s Committee has also conducted sectors, departments, mass organizations to jointly visit, offer gifts to the local policy beneficiary families, revolutionary contributors with extremely difficult circumstances, poor households and workers who can’t afford to return home for Tet.
She added that the district is expected to spend more than VND2.4billion from the local State budget to offer 1,891 Tet gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, cadres with the 40-year Party membership insignia, ex-youth volunteers, martyrs ‘children working for State agencies, relatives of soldiers who are on duty in remote islands, workers with extremely difficult circumstances… Together with gifts, the district will print 1,200 Tet greeting cards for the above targeted people, wishing them a happy and joyful spring.
