The new school year has just started, students, who are migrant worker’s children in the province, also joyfully go to school. To take good care of worker’s children on occasion of new school year, Youth Union organizations have brought much joy to these students on the opening day of new school year…

Students of a compassionate class in Dong An quarter, Tan Dong Hiep ward (Di An town) joyfully and excitedly entered the new school year 2016-2017
In the ambience of new school year’s opening day, worker’s children at Little Star Preschool (under provincial Young Worker and Labor Supporting Center) also jubilantly and excitedly` welcome the new school year. In the last academic year, the Center gave more than 100 gifts worth totally over VND10 million to needy students and exempted 10 poor students from school fees.
Mr Do Van Phung, Director of provincial Young Worker and Labor Supporting Center, said: “In the 2016-2017 school year, Little Star Preschool has 7 groups with 190 children. The school will keep improving the quality of preschool education for 5-year-old children; innovating teaching methods, management, improving the quality of comprehensive education and soft skills for children”.
After activities of the new school year ceremony, the Center presented 10 gifts to worker’s children with difficult circumstances; and gave periodic health check-up for all children of the school. According to Mr Do Van Phung, in addition to coordinating with Chanh Phu Hoa ward Medical Center, the Center joined hands with Nhan Nghia Trading Company - Medical Service (Ben Cat) to organize monthly and quarterly health check-up for children studying at the school.
Going to school is not only fun but also very meaningful to worker’s children at compassionate classes in different localities. Due to difficult family conditions, they have come to compassionate classes in the evening to learn. Youth union members also support these classes at every new school year’s beginning. Voluntary young people teach children and mobilize contributions for them.
At Thuan Giao ward (Thuan An town), Youth Union in collaboration with Protrade Corp’s Trade Union presented more than 70 gifts to compassionate classes in Hoa Lan 2 quarter and Binh Thuan 2 quarter. Each gift consisted of a uniform set and school bag to encourage them to overcome difficulties and strive hard in school to become useful citizens.
Tan Dong Hiep ward Youth Union has interested in poor worker’s children in Di An town, organized free classes for these children. This year, students of compassionate class in Dong An quarter (Tan Dong Hiep ward, Di An town) also had their own new school year celebration organized by local Youth Union. At the ceremony, these students received gifts to encourage the learning spirit in the new school year…
