Tran Van Hop, Head of Di An city’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) said that thanks to good coordination with relevant units and wards, the city’s DoLISA in 2020 focused on well realizing policies for revolutionary contributors on Tet and great holidays; fulfilled the set target on building and upgrading houses for revolutionary contributors in need of housing; reached 153.75% of the target in mobilizing contributions to the local Gratitude Fund…
The city’s DoLISA also coordinated with the city’s Social Insurance to ensure registration for the grant and adjustment of health insurance cards for revolutionary contributors; advised provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on approving expanditure for home convalesce at VND400million for 355 revolutionary contributors. The city’s People’s Committee also ratified a policy of building 2 houses and upgrading 1 house for revolutionary contributors in Tan Dong Hiep, Binh An and An Binh wards with VND200million from the local Gratitude Fund.
The city also attached special importance to maintaining heroic Vietnamese mothers. Currently, the city has 3 heroic Vietnamese mothers and 1 policy beneficiary maintained by 4 units, namely Binh Duong Lottery One-Member Co.Ltd., Song Than branch’s Vietcombank, Binh Duong Industrial Park branch’s Vietcombank, Binh Duong Minerals & Construction Co. and Thu Duc district’s Water Supply Co. in HCM city…
Warming the heart on Tet and great holidays
Leaders of the province and the city frequently visit, donate gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, revolutionary contributors on the annual Tet and great holidays.
To mark this year’s War Invalid and Martyrs ‘Day, provincial leaders visited and presented 40 gifts worth VND100million from provincial State budget to heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids and martyrs ‘families. Leaders of the city also visited and donated gifts worth VND50million from the local State budget to 50 war invalids and martyrs ‘families with difficult circumstances; teamed up with wards to recheck and give gifts worth more than VND300million from central State budget to 1,533 handicapped people.
In 2020, the city’s DoLISA also worked with the People’s Committees of wards to offer Tet gifts worth around VND350million from central State budget to 1,622 policy beneficiaries; donated money, gifts worth more than VND3.4billion from provincial State budget to 2,179 policy beneficiaries. The city’s People’s Committee also visited, presented gifts worth VND85million from the local State budget to 85 needy policy beneficiaries…
