On the afternoon of July 1, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in collaboration with provincial School of Politics, departments, agencies and sectors held a talkshow with the topic of "Implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Law on Environmental protection in 2020 towards sustainable development in Binh Duong province”. The event was attended Dr. Nguyen Hoang Thao, Standing Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Principal of provincial School of Politics; Prof. - Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, representatives of departments and sectors in the province.
At the talk show, Prof. - Dr. Le Van Loi said that over the past years, most environmental targets were achieved by the province. Binh Duong was assessed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment as one of the country’s top five localities in environmental management. Binh Duong's environmental management experience can be a good lesson for other localities.
At the talk show, leaders of provincial Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Management Board of Industrial Parks gave thematic speeches on transforming the current growth model into green growth and circular economic development; implemented the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress on environmental protection, building up the circular economy, the low-carbon economy in businesses and fields in the province...
Concluding the talk show, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Thao said that the role of the talk shows has important meaning, bringing a lot of experience and creating a number of directions, organizing planning of the province... In the coming time, the province will review all industrial parks and compounds, business scopes, land use, etc., to support enterprises to move to the northern region of the province, transform their functions and apply high technology. Along with that, urban industrial parks in the southern region of the province will develop clean industries, trade and services in association with environmental protection...
