Tan An primary school has just held a ceremony to receive its recognition as a first-class national standard school and review the 2014-2015 academic year (photo).
The school is built very spaciously with many functional rooms, ensuring its teaching and learning activities. The number of day-boarders herein now accounts for 70% of total pupils and there are more and more qualified teachers.
Among 40 teachers of the school, there were 20 good teachers at school level and 4 at city level in the 2014-2015 academic year. There were also 10 experience initiatives with city-level type B and 1 suggested for consideration by provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET). Besides, pupils of the school gained high achievements at contests organized by the sector.
On this occasion, 375 pupils were also honored for their achievements in study and movements launched by the school in the 2014-2014 academic year.
Thu Dau Mot city has so far 40 out of 55 schools recognized as first-class national standard ones. Noticeably, 3 out of 4 schools in Tan An ward have met first-class national standards.
