Over years, the commune has excelled promulgations and mobilizations to urge people from all walks of life to the repayment work. Many good deeds such gift visits, assistance on production and business, gratitude house building have been implemented voluntarily and constantly. The commune has ensured allowances for the local privileged.
Tan Hiep commune now has 72 privileged people. In the past year, the locality in cooperation with all level localities granted saving books for the privileged. In addition, the commune paid monthly subsidies, Tet and holiday bonuses for the privileged and retired with the value of over VND1bil. Lastly, the communal People’s Committee granted a gratitude house worth VND71mil for a local privileged person.
Besides, from funds contributed by donors and locality, the commune in coordination with clinics annually holds free health check-ups for local wounded soldiers and privileged people. Meanwhile, local Front Committee, Mass Mobilization, Women’s Union, Veterans’ Union, Youth Union at all levels have mobilized their members to assist the privileged.
Many local wounded and sick soldiers have excelled the Party and State’s instructions and become advanced individuals. Specifically, the commune has petitioned the province administration to confer the title of “exemplary revolutionary family” on 2 privileged families and title of “exemplary citizen” on wounded soldier Nguyen Van Na.
At present, the commune-based 100% of privileged families have reached standards on cultural and exemplary family.
