Tan Uyen town is expected to present 346 mid-autumn gifts to the local poor children on the occasion of the 2014 mid-autumn festival.
Of these, there are 46 gifts worth VND300,000 each from provincial Children’s Support Fund and 300 gifts worth VND200,000 each from the town’s State budget.
The town’s 2014 mid-autumn festival will be held on September 6 (August 13 of lunar calendar) at the town’s Cultural House for Children. The town has also planned to mobilize organizations and individuals to support the local mid-autumn festival.
* The festival with the theme “Mid-Autumn Festival: Remembering Uncle Ho” will be held at Di An town’s theater on September 7 (August 14 of lunar calendar) .
During this year’s mid-autumn festival, Di An town will visit and present 505 mid-autumn gifts worth VND151.5mln to the local poor children.
*On the occasion of the 2014 mid-autumn festival, leaders of Thuan An town will organize delegations to visit and present 592 mid-autumn gifts worth VND200,000 each to children with difficult circumstances.
The town will also visit and present gifs to children at Bo De Dao Trang pagoda, the town’s Center for Disable Children…Along with visiting and presenting gifts to needy children, the town will organize competitions for beautiful lanterns, full-moon festive nights in three regions as follows: First region-Lai Thieu, Vinh Hoa, Binh Hoa and Binh Nham. Second region-Hung Dinh, An Thanh and An Son wards. Third region-Thuan Giao, An Phu and Binh Chuan wards.
