Army HQ in Tan Uyen District just held a meeting to sum up 5-year training which has bên in synchronous plans and guidelines. The local HQ had commanded 22 towns and communes to organize defensive units in their localities. The training course lasts from 2006 to 2010 with effective and in-depth training and organizing of local force in accordance with Ordinance on preparing soldiers and Law on people’s defensive forces.
For five years, the District’s HQ has opened training courses for 1,372 officials. In the meantime, the local HQ also consulted with its People’s Committee and Party Committee to implement well education and propaganda of national defense. Attending subjects are mainly from sectors of education, religion, Youth League, cadres, and party members so as to raise their awareness in terms of sustainable and thorough defense and security.
