With the message of “Blood donation to save the lives of people is a noble deed”, many activities regarding this deed have been implemented in Tan Uyen district.
Tan Uyen district has so far organized many blood donation campaigns as planned; held get-togethers to mark Voluntary Blood Donation Day (April 7); honored families and individuals for their blood donation efforts…, contributing to making a strong change in public awareness of voluntary blood donation. The district has also paid more attention to propaganda activities for this field.

As a result, Phu Chanh commune exceeded its targets in voluntary blood donation between 2009 and 2012. In 2012 alone, the commune reached 107% of the target in this field.
