Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union, on July 28, held a get-together to mark the 85th anniversary of Vietnam’s Trade Union (July 28, 1929-July 28, 2014).
At the get-together, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of Vietnam’s Trade Union over the past 85 years. Upholding this tradition, activities of the town’s Trade Union over the past time saw an improvement in both form and content, contributing to well implementing the local political, socio-economic tasks.
Trade Unions at all levels of the town took good care of laborers’ lives via many practical activities. This helped laborers further uphold their strength and solidarity in order to overcome difficulties and work creatively, contributing to successfully realizing the local plan on socio-economic development. So far, the whole town has had a total of 272 trade union locals with more than 37,000 trade unionists.
On this occasion, Tan Uyen town’s Trade Union awarded the mementoes of “For the cause of Trade Union construction” of the Vietnam’s General Confederation of Labor to 3 individuals; gave 30 gifts for good pupils who are the offspring of workers with difficult circumstances…
