Early September 6, Tan Uyen town’s Steering Board of the “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle” movement held a conference to sum up the 15-year implementation of the movement from 2000 to 2015.
Many role-models and movements appeared in the town during 15 years of implementing the movement. Particularly, the town last year had a total of 94.3% of households recognized as cultural ones. The Steering Board also built up cultural hamlets, lodging facilities; associated the movement with the movement of the “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential quarters”, positively affecting the local socio-economic development and raising locals’ spiritual & material lives. The “All people consolidate to help each other in economic development” movement also contributed to helping the town reduce the number of the local poor households and be recognized as a locality basically escaping poverty under the province’s new poverty line…
On this occasion, the Steering Board awarded the certificates of merit to 12 collectives, 118 households and 68 individuals with excellent achievements in the realization of the movement over the past 15 years.
