Afternoon of March 20, the Association of Women of Tan Uyen town in collaboration with the Center for Culture, Sports and Radio of the town held a seminar to respond to the International Day of Happiness (March 20) and celebrate the Vietnamese Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21).
At the seminar, the delegates had a chance to see book exhibitions, art book models, exhibition models of informational panels to propagate Vietnam's sovereignty over sea and islands, exhibition of paintings and drawings of ao dai with the theme of "I love Vietnamese ao dai", exchanging and answering questions and receiving gifts from the organizers. The delegates also shared information and knowledge about books and the way to change for happiness from the lecturers.
Duong Ngoc Hang Nga - Chairwoman of the Association of Women of Tan Uyen town, said that the organization of the seminar is to propagate to cadres and women members the general charge of teams of primary and secondary schools and readers in the town about the meaning of the International Day of Happiness, on the role and importance of culture, reading culture and the meaning of Vietnamese Book and Reading Culture Day. The seminar also contributes to building and developing the reading movement in the community towards building a learning society and creating cultural beauty in social life.
