Most learners of vocational training programs in Tan Uyen town have created stable jobs by themselves. With the motto "theory must go hand in hand with practice, during a training, learners are provided with new knowledge and skills to help them master the learned knowledge. Vocational training at grassroots level is closely linked to production and enterprises having labor demand. Therefore, after the training, most learners are recruited by companies in the area with a stable salary.
Phan Thi Ngoc Hoa, Head of Tan Uyen Town Office of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, said that in recent years, municipal Party and People's Committee have directed the organization of vocational training for rural laborers according to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1956 / QD-TTg in new rural areas construction combined with socio-economic development. The results over 2010-2015 period showed that total number of rural laborers acquiring vocational training was 1,645 people, reaching 109.7% target, the rate of trainees having jobs after the training was 70%. Over 2010-2015 period, total number of trained rural laborers was 1,493 people, reaching 199.06% target, the rate of trainees having jobs was over 86%.
Vocational training for rural laborers at grassroots level has saved training costs for rural workers. The training professions are in accordance with demands of enterprises. Most learners, after training courses, are recruited by enterprises in the area with stable salaries. In addition, some workers have applied the knowledge learned into production practice to start a household business and have better incomes.
In order to well implement the vocational training for workers, People's Committee of Tan Uyen town issued decisions on strengthening Steering Committee for the project "Vocational Training for Migrant Workers until 2020" to every year effectively implement contents of Decision No. 1956/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the approval of the Vocational Training Scheme for migrant workers until 2020; promulgated plans and directed the implementation of plans for vocational training, employment introduction, sustainable poverty reduction for migrant workers with specific targets and solutions...

Vocational training for migrant workers in Tan Uyen town received attention and investment, favorable conditions from party committees and authorities. Vocational training has created more opportunities for workers to have suitable jobs, contributing to the restructuring of agriculture and rural areas; to further enhance people's trust in Party's guidelines and State's laws.
Annually, the town Party and People's Council integrate targets of vocational training into action programs and resolutions. Based on these action program and resolutions, the Town People's Committee develops vocational training plans for laborers, directs relevant branches, assigns targets to each commune and ward for effective implementation.
